A Festive Easter Green Salad

Welcome to the world of springtime and more importantly, Easter! I have the perfect recipe to make this holiday extra special – a very festive Easter Green Salad.

Ingredients:

2 cups of fresh baby spinach
1/3 cup of feta cheese
1/2 of a red onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons of white balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

Method:

1. Wash and dry the baby spinach, and place it in a large salad bowl.
2. Add the feta cheese, red onion slices, white balsamic vinegar, freshly cracked pepper and olive oil.
3. Toss until everything is well combined.
4. Serve and enjoy!

This easy-to-make Easter green salad is a great way to bring some life and flavor back into your holiday table. The combination of the fresh baby spinach with the feta cheese and red onion adds a nice texture and hint of Mediterranean flair. The white balsamic vinegar adds a slight tart taste, while the extra virgin olive oil and freshly cracked pepper help to round out the flavors.

The best part is that this Easter green salad can be enjoyed in many different ways. Served as a side dish at your Easter dinner, it pairs nicely with any type of protein. It can also work as a light meal on its own, especially when served with some crusty fresh bread. And, if you really want to switch things up, add a few hard-boiled eggs, grilled chicken, and/or the zest of a lemon to create a new and exciting flavor palette.
