A Decadent Travel Cake Recipe – Perfect for a Journey of Taste

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and mix in the sour cream and lemon juice.
  5. Stir in the flour mixture.
  6. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Place into the preheated oven and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan and then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. In a medium bowl, mix together the confectioners sugar and 2 tablespoons lemon juice to make a thick glaze.
  11. Spread over the cooled cake.
