Paleta Shot Recipe
This delicious shot of sweet tequila mixed with a tangy lime will be sure to give you a paleta (pop) of flavor. The best part? It’s possibly one of the easiest mixed drinks you can make. The next time you’re looking to throw a party, or just hang out with friends, consider mixing up a Paleta Shot for something unique and fun.
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce silver tequila
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon simple syrup (optional)
Instructions:
- Fill a shot glass with the tequila.
- Pour the lime juice and simple syrup (if using) into the glass and mix.
- Serve chilled with a lime wheel to garnish, if desired.
For a fun snack before or after the Paleta Shot, serve up some Mexican paletas – fruit flavored popsicles similar to Italian ice.
