Joe Behar Lasagna

– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 onion, chopped
– 1 jar of your favorite marinara
– 1/2 cup Ricotta cheese
– 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
– 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
– 12 lasagna noodles
– Salt and pepper to taste


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
3. Drain fat and season with salt and pepper.
4. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with oil.
5. Spread a small amount of marinara in the bottom of the baking dish.
6. Layer four cooked lasagna noodles in the bottom of the dish.
7. Spread Ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by the ground beef mixture.
8. Top the beef mixture with the remaining marinara.
9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
10. Top with remaining lasagna noodles.
11. Spread the remaining Ricotta cheese on top and sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
12. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly.
13. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
