Salvadorian Chicken – A Delicious And Authentic Recipe

Instructions

1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Add the garlic and onion to the pan, stirring occasionally until the onion is translucent.
3. Add the bell peppers and chili pepper if desired, stirring occasionally until they become soft.
4. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on each side.
5. Reduce the heat to low and add the diced tomatoes, black beans, oregano, bay leaf, cumin, chili powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
6. Simmer covered for 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
7. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
