Rotel Chili Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) chili beans, undrained
- 2 cans (10 ounces each) Rotel tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- salt to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large saucepan, cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
2. Add the onion, garlic, chili beans, Rotel tomatoes, diced tomatoes and seasonings.
3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until the flavors are blended, stirring occasionally.
4. Check for seasoning and salt (if needed).
5. Serve chili with your favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese, chopped onions, sliced jalapenos, sour cream, and/or diced avocados. Enjoy!
