Tempting Pink Lady Cake

Ingredients:

– 2 cups self-rising flour
– 2 large eggs
– 1 cup of sugar

– 2 tablespoons of butter, melted

For the frosting

– 4 tablespoons of butter, at room temperature
– 2 cups of icing sugar
– 2 tablespoons of milk
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– a few drops of pink food coloring

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (176 C).
2. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
3. In a large bowl, mix together the self-rising flour, eggs, sugar, oil, water, vanilla extract and pink food coloring until everything is well-blended.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center of the cake is firm.
6. Let the cake cool completely before adding the frosting.
7. To make the frosting, mix together butter, icing sugar, milk, vanilla extract and a few drops of pink food coloring.
8. Let the frosting cool before spreading on the cake.
9. Sprinkle with edible glitter or sprinkles, then serve.
