Experience Nilaga There’s Nothing Better Than A Delicious Home-cooked Chicken Nilaga

There’s nothing better than a lazy Saturday afternoon spent in the kitchen cooking up a delicious, home-cooked meal. -2 lbs. chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
-1 large onion, diced
-1 large potato, diced
-2 tablespoons of minced fresh ginger
-2 tablespoons of crushed garlic
-1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
-2 bay leaves
-2 tablespoons of fish sauce
-8 cups of chicken broth
-1 large carrot, chopped
-1 cup of green beans, chopped
-1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
-1 lime, cut into wedges


1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add onions and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add chicken, potatoes, and ginger and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Pour in chicken broth and add bay leaves, salt, and fish sauce. Simmer for about 20 minutes.
5. Add vegetables, carrots, and green beans. Simmer for a few minutes until vegetables are tender.
6. Turn off heat. Add cilantro and stir.
7. Serve hot with lime wedges on the side.
