Mueller’s Lasagna

Mueller’s Lasagna is a surefire way to make your dinner guests feel welcome. With savory and juicy seasoned ground beef, cheese and lasagna noodles, it’s sure to satisfy any cravings. Plus, it’s easy to make and doesn’t require a lot of time in the kitchen.

Ingredients:

– 1 lb. lean ground beef
– 1 jar (24 oz.) of your favorite spaghetti sauce
– 1 (15 oz.) container of ricotta cheese
– 1 cup egg substitute
– 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 (9 oz.) package of No-Boil lasagna noodles
– 2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
– 2 cups freshly shredded part-skim or low-fat mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain fat.
3. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, parsley and garlic until well-mixed.
4. To assemble lasagna, spread 1 cup of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
5. Top with half of the lasagna noodles in a single layer.
6. Add a layer of ricotta cheese mixture, followed by half of the cooked ground beef.
7. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
8. Top with 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce, followed by a single layer of remaining lasagna noodles.
9. Top with remaining ricotta cheese mixture, ground beef, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and remaining spaghetti sauce.
10. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
11. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
12. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
