Milk and Molasses Enema Recipe

  2. Set up the enema bag according to manufacturer guidelines and pour the milk and molasses mixture into the bag.
  3. Lie down on the left side for 15 minutes and let the enema solution flow into the rectum at a steady rate.
  4. Wait 15 minutes, then either sit on the toilet and push, or use a natural laxative or fiber supplement to help push the enema out. Do not force the enema out by pushing.
  5. After the enema is administered, rest for an additional 15 minutes before resuming normal activities.
