For those unfamiliar with this iconic dish, J Gumbos Drunken Chicken is a hot and spicy fusion of Southern and Latin American cooking. This hearty, zesty feast gets its flavour from the robust combination of spices, including cayenne pepper, smoked paprika and oregano — ultimately creating a dish with a fiery yet tangy punch. The star of the show, however, is undoubtedly the tequila. A generous splash of tequila adds a unique smoky complexity to the flavours and ensures this classic dish packs an unforgettable punch.
