Italian Saltimbocca Recipe

Ingredients:

• 4 veal cutlets
• 4 slices prosciutto
• 8 fresh sage leaves
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1/4 cup dry white wine
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Season the veal cutlets with salt and pepper.
2. Place one sage leaf and one slice of prosciutto on top of each cutlet.
3. Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the butter, allowing it to melt and start to bubble.
4. Place the cutlets in the pan and cook for 2 minutes.
5. Flip the cutlets and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
6. Add the white wine to the pan and let it simmer for 1 minute.
7. Remove the pan from the heat and serve the Saltimbocca with a side of pasta, potatoes or salad. Enjoy!
