An Delicious Indian Vada Pav Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed

  • 2 tablespoons water

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, gram flour, green chilli, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, water and salt and mix thoroughly.
  2. Heat oil in a deep-frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Shape the potato mixture into small patties and gently drop them into the hot oil.
  4. Fry the patties until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove the patties from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  6. Split the Pav buns in half and lightly toast them in a hot pan.
  7. Place the patties into the Pav buns and serve with chutneys of your choice.
