If you’re looking for a delicious and easy to make sweet treat, look no further than Grandma Marrs Blueberry Bread! This tasty bread is filled with juicy blueberries and a tender, sweet crumb that melt in your mouth. It’s a comfort food favorite of mine, based on a traditional recipe handed down through generations of my family.

Grandma Marr used fresh-from-the-farm blueberries and light, fluffy bread dough to craft this delicious bread. The unique combination of ingredients give Grandma Marr’s Blueberry Bread a special place in my heart, evoking memories of warm summer days and beloved family gatherings.

Ingredients

2 cups of all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda

1⁄4 teaspoon salt

1 cup of granulated sugar

4 tablespoons of butter, melted

1 egg

1 cup of sour cream

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

2 cups fresh blueberries

Instructions

Preheat oven 350°F. Grease a 9-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix the sugar, melted butter, egg, sour cream, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the blueberries.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.

Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then turn out onto a wire rack.

Enjoy your delicious Grandma Marrs Blueberry Bread warm or cold! With its nutty sweetness and sweet blueberry flavor, it’s the perfect treat to enjoy on a cozy afternoon at home. Serve it with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of your favorite ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
