Decadent Godiva Chocolate Cake- An Epicure’s Delight

¾ cup of cocoa powder

4 tablespoons of melted butter
¾ cup of milk
Ganache: 2 ½ cups of heavy cream
20 oz of melting chocolate
Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and lightly flour a 9-inch springform pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together your flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until they are light and fluffy. Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat until they are combined.
Once everything is mixed, slowly pour in the melted butter and milk, stirring constantly until a thick and creamy mix forms.

For the ganache, heat the cream in a saucepan over medium-low heat and bring to a simmer. Add in the melting chocolate and whisk until all of the chocolate has melted and the ganache is smooth and creamy.
Let the chocolate cake cool for 10 -15 minutes before adding the ganache.
