Easy Mac N’ Cheese

  • 2 cups macaroni noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 3 cups shredded cheese
  • Salt & pepper, to taste


  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the macaroni noodles. Cook according to package instructions (about 7 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, whisking constantly, for 1 minute.
  3. Whisk in the milk. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens, about 4 minutes.
  4. Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Stir in the cooked macaroni noodles and season with salt and pepper. Stir until combined.
  6. Transfer the macaroni and cheese to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
