Easy & Delicious Bison Meatballs for Any Night of the Week

Bison is a leaner and a healthier option than traditional beef. It’s an excellent source of protein, iron, zinc and vitamin B-12, and it’s free of added hormones and steroids. Bison meatballs are the perfect choice for a quick, weeknight meal that is sure to impress even the pickiest of eaters.
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground bison
2/3 cup of fresh breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Oil for cooking
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a bowl, mix together the ground bison, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt and pepper until everything is combined.
3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
4. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
5. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
6. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden and browned.
