Chiquita Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

– 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
– ½ teaspoon salt
– ½ teaspoon baking soda
– ½ teaspoon baking powder
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 6 tablespoons melted butter
– ⅔ cup sugar
– 2 eggs
– 2 ripe Chiquita bananas, mashed
– ½ cup Chiquita applesauce
-½ cup sour cream

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350˚F and grease a 9×5” loaf pan with cooking spray.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.

3. In a separate bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

4. Add the eggs one at a time and mix until combined.

5. Stir in the mashed bananas and applesauce until just combined.

6. Now, add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until all is combined.

7. Finally, add the sour cream and stir until everything is completely mixed.

8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
