Chinese Wonton Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

• 10-12 wonton wrappers
• 2 cloves of garlic, minced
• 2 cups of chicken broth
• 1 tbsp of ginger, grated
• 2 cups of water
• 1 tbsp of soy sauce
• 1/2 tsp of sesame oil
• 2 green onions, thinly sliced
• 2 cups of bok choy, chopped
• 1/2 cup of mushrooms, sliced

Instructions:

1. Start by preparing the wontons. Place 1 teaspoon of filling each into the center of the wonton wrappers. Wet the edges of the wonton wrappers, fold in half and press to seal.

2. In a large pot, add garlic, chicken broth, ginger, water and soy sauce. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.

3. Add the wontons to the broth and cook for 5-7 minutes until they float to the top.

4. Add the sesame oil, green onions and bok choy and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

5. Add the mushrooms and cook for 1-2 minutes.

6. Serve hot and enjoy!
